Evelyn McLaughlin was a beacon of kindness and generosity in her beloved community of Clarendon, Jamaica. She was deeply respected by all who knew her, and her spirit of giving was truly remarkable. No matter how small the gesture, Evelyn was always finding ways to give back to her community, making a tangible and lasting impact on countless lives.

After Evelyn’s passing in 2019, her children, grandchildren, and family were determined to carry on her incredible legacy. With that powerful goal in mind, they founded Evelyn’s Giving Hearts. This organization continues Evelyn’s mission by focusing on vital support for the community. We provide back-to-school supplies for children, offer scholarships to help young people pursue higher education, and assist the elderly with food, medicines, and hygiene bags.

We hold a special “Day of Giving” every other year. Our last event was in 2023, and we’re excitedly preparing for our third Day of Giving this year, in August 2025. To continue the important work Evelyn started, we are seeking everyone’s help, no matter how small your contribution. We are forever grateful for all the support we’ve received so far, and we invite you to join us in making a difference.
